The Eastpointe Police Department consists of an Animal Control unit, Detectives Bureau, Patrol Division, Records Division, and Traffic Safety Division. The Animal Control unit is responsible for investigating complaints pertaining to animals. The Detectives Bureau detects and arrests criminals, investigates crimes, and investigates the location of missing persons. The Patrol Division has supervisors who work 12 hour shifts and officers work 8 hour shifts. The Records Division processes FOIA requests and accident/crash reports. The Traffic Safety Division coordinates any traffic matter.

Payments are completed using Visa, MasterCard and Discover online. Crash reports can be found using the following search criteria: incident number, driver/owner/passenger date of birth and date of crash incident or driver’s license number, driver’s date of birth and date of crash incident. Crash reports will be provided 5 to 7 business days after payment has been placed.
